What is the best brand to buy for replacing an electric heat pump condensor and air handler?

Back in December, my heater stopped working. It continually blowed cold air whenever I turned on the heat. Sometimes, if I turn the circuit breaker off for the furnace, it will work again. I had two different people look at the heat pump and air handler. One said that there is a restriction in the heat pump and that it would be best to replace both the heat pump condenser AND the air handler. I’m not sure where the problem is – whether it’s with the condensor or the air handler. The air handler seems to work since it’s blowing cold air. The condensor does not always come on (it does sometimes when I turn the circuit breaker on and off). I’ve replaced the thermostat and it still does not work. Could it be something with the circuit breaker? Another tech suggested that the heat strip in the air handler is bad. All the people I have called seem to contradict each other, but all recommend replacing both the heat pump condensor and air handler. What brand is best? One guy is pushing Rheem. The other is pushing Day & Night. Another is pushing Frigidaire or Friedrich (not sure which he said). I’ve looked online and cannot find any ratings on heat pump condensors or air handlers. I’m confused because everyone is saying something different and saying their brand is better. Please help! It is freeeezing in my house. I’m not sure if it really is the right thing to replace both units or if this is something that can be fixed.
